Many people take detours along their professional path. Accounting Studies graduate, Frankie Martella, is no exception. Frankie has had quite a varied career path: construction, demolition, accounting, administrative work. After doing most of his studies at the Lester B. Pearson School Board, he now works for the school board as an executive assistant.

In spite of having many years of experience as an administrative professional, Patricia Bouchard was not being considered for more advanced jobs. The lack of accredited certification, pertinent to her industry, hampered Patricia’s career. She was passed over for jobs that she was qualified to do because of the absence of such accreditation. Luckily, she discovered the RAC process which allows candidates to obtain official recognition for their professional competencies.
