It might have taken him a little longer than he expected to get his Electrician's license, but Robert Pereira-Tomé is very happy to finally be a fully licensed electrician. His hard work and grit paid off.

Even though he had 30+ years of experience in electricity and telecommunications, Oscar Beltran's skills and education were not enough to get him a job that fit with his expertise and education. By signing up for the RAC process, he will be able to get his skills and experience officially recognized.

Back in January 2019 a Sikh teenager left the friendly confines of his home in the Indian Province of Punjab for the first time. The issue was not so much that he left, but rather where he went? He came to Canada, specifically Montreal to continue his education. He entered the Telecom Program at the Pearson Electrotechnology Centre with the hopes of graduating with a Diploma on completion of the program which spanned a period of sixteen months.
