9, 2018
as Adult
Leaners’
Week
and
Gordon
Robertson
Beauty
Academy
teachers
have
organized
surprises
throughout
the week
to
celebrate.
This
week is
a time
that is
set
aside to
honor
adult
learners,
recognizing
the
challenges
many
face as
they
balance
full-time
studies
with
work,
home-life,
commuting
long
distances
to get
to
school,
all the
while
trying
to
maintain
a
healthy
lifestyle.
Many of
our
students
are
returning
to
school
for a
second
career,
while
others
have
chosen
this
path as
a
continuation
of their
high-school
journey.
What our
students
all have
in
common
is a
passion
for the
Beauty
Industry.
We wish
to
recognize
their
accomplishments
and
motivate
them to
persevere.
