14 year
old
American
Jacob
Cramer
not only
caught
the
attention
of ‘Ted
Talks’,
but also
that of
the
August
2016
group of
PAB
students
during a
class on
understanding
client
needs.
After
watching
Jacob’s
heart-warming
story
explaining
his
movement
‘Love
for
the
Elderly’, whereby
he
receives
and
distributes
letters
of
friendship
to
elderly
people
throughout
the USA,
the
students
unanimously
decided
to write
their
own
letters.
The
letters
were
sent to
Donald
Berman
Maimonides
Geriatric
Centre
(who
PACC has
a proud
and
long-standing
affiliation
with),
and
distributed
to
residents
during
their
recreational
activities.
They
were
well
received
by both
staff
and
residents
and the
students
commended
for
their
thoughtfulness
and
creativity.
Just a
few
weeks
into
their
training,
it was
incredibly
heart-warming
for the
teacher
to see
such an
enthusiastic
and
considerate
initiative
from the
students.
Caring
IS
sharing!
