DELF is a language diploma awarded by the French Ministry, which is recognized worldwide and is valid for life. Within the DELF diploma, there are four sub-levels from which you may choose. Each of the levels are independent from each other, which means that you can register for the diploma of your choice according to your level. Regardless of the level you select, four components will be evaluated: listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Please note that examinations for both DELF and DALF take place 3 times a year – November, March and June. These dates are set in advance by the French Ministry and are completed at the same time Internationally.
In order to register for DELF – DALF Tout Public examinations, you must be an adult (18+ years old). Also, please ensure that you select the adequate level for either DELF or DALF. If you are unsure, please fill-out the various assessment forms on the right sidebar (Which level is right for me?)
If you are under the age of 18+ years old and desire to take a DELF examination, please refer to DELF Junior/Scolaire
You must be between the ages of 12 and 17 in order to complete a DELF Junior/Scolaire examination.
