DELF/DALF – Diplôme d’Études de la Langue Française/ Diplôme Approfondi de la Langue Française

Recognized worldwide and valid for life, DELF/DALF allows you to select the diploma of your choice based on your level of French. For both levels, you will be evaluated on four components: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Testing for DELF/DALF takes place 3 times a year – November, March and June. The French Ministry determines the dates for this international examination.

TEF – Test d’Évaluation de Français

TEF allows you to provide confirmation of your level of French in a professional, academic or mobility-related context, and particularly for: studying in France (TEF Études), obtaining French Nationality (TEF Naturalisation), Obtaining a French Resident Card (TEF Carte de résident), immigrating to Canada and obtaining Canadian Citizenship (TEF Canada) and Immigrating to Quebec (TEF Québec – TEFAQ). This evaluation is valid for 2 years.

TENS 

TENS allows you to obtain an attestation of equivalence for Secondary School.

GDT – General Development Test

GDT measures the general skills you will require as prerequisites for a Vocational Training Program.

About Our Company

Lester B. Pearson School Board (LBPSB) is one of the largest English school boards in Quebec in terms of student enrollment, serving approximately 21,000 students in the Youth sector and approximately 8,700 in its Continuing Education sector. The Board is responsible for a network of 37 elementary schools, 13 secondary schools and 8 Continuing Education Centres.
